We are off to a great start.  We celebrated with good friends at our house this year.  It was really fun.  Thanks Melissa for bringing over such swanky champagne.  It was delish!

January will kick off something BIG for me.  A new photography website is rolling out this week.  Can you stand the wait?  I will send out an email with the launch.  If you aren’t on my mailing list, please write me and let me know your address.   

Also, Flamenco classes start this Wednesday at Variations, a dancers studio.  Located in Huntington.  Beginner lesson starts at 7pm and Intermediate at 8pm.

My cousin (on Craig’s side) had a baby yesterday!  Congratulations Aimee.  Anna Lucille weighed in at 7lbs. 11oz. (same as Ben!)

So as you can see, things are busy busy busy.  What are you up to?  Care to share? 

Wednesday was the last day of Flamenco class.  We have been going strong for 17 weeks and let me tell you, my students are AWESOME!  They are dedicated to dance and so fun to be with.  I really enjoyed this past session.  Girls, (if you are reading this)  I applaud you.  I will send out an email shortly with the intructions to our dance (thank you Idee!).  I will also let  you know when my Mom starts teaching at Jones Beach.  It will be on Wednesday nights.  We can all meet up there.  My classes will start up again in September.  I’m taking a break for the summer.  YAY!

I almost missed my train but once I met up with all the girls it was smooth sailing.  We ate at a great French restaurant called Maison.  I had the Crisp Duck Confit.  It was really good.  Oh, and so was their coffee and fries.  Out of the nine of us, a few headed to the theater to take part in the practice lesson they were offering.  They learned a bit of tangos.  We then all grouped again and went in to see the show.  It was rather different.  A lot of modern choreography (which I don’t normally go for) but there were some numbers that really stood out.  This one girl, Rocio Molina made the show for me.  Her movements were beautiful. Off to the City Center tonight to see Mujeres with the girls from class. I go every year and it’s always exciting.

Check out WMI (World Music Institute) – it’s worth it!

Class was awesome last night. Everyone really put 100% into this new dance we are putting together. I’m so proud of them. Thanks to Samy for getting me the awesome music.

Well, Ben is certainly happy about it!  We are going to a costume party tonight, I am dancing with Sol y Sombra at the Custer Observatory on Saturday and spending Sunday home relaxing with my guys.  Hope everyone has a great weekend.
