Monsta is psyched to hand these out at school today.

This little dude wanted in on the action too!

Thanks for all the <3

Happy Valentine’s Day!

Road Trip!  I grabbed my sister and we drove to Purchase.  Easiest trip ever I might add.  We arrive and are greeted by the most beautiful Mama to be.  She was gorgeous, the house was gorgeous and we all had such a fun time.  We giggled and so did hubby.  I have to say that these two are going to be the most wonderful parents.  They are so warm and inviting.  The love they share is really something to witness.

Enjoy:

I was so honored that she asked me to photograph her newborn as well.  Here is a glimpse of their sweet girl…

Welcome to the world

I wanted to share with you a truly amazing session.  A session that wasn’t supposed to happen actually.  Things always have a way of falling into place.  I believe that wholeheartedly.  The energy, the love, the fun……it all came together on this day.

I hope you enjoyed these as much as I enjoyed taking them. I keep scrolling back to see them again!

I’d like to wish everyone a peaceful and productive new year ahead. Thank you to all of you for supporting Earth & Skye Photography and for passing my name around to family and friends. 2011 has been a wonderful year and with a full heart, I thank you.

I had the pleasure of meeting sweet Stephen this past weekend.  He is 3.5 weeks new to the world and has wonderful parents.  K & S welcomed me into their beautiful home and it was so relaxed and fun.  I hope you enjoy this little sneak peek.

He had such great skin tone and look at all that hair!  Love it.

He was perfect in every way.

Peace out

December 9, 2011

In the middle of all the Holiday frenzy, I find myself searching for bits of calm.

It could be five minutes or less.

Usually less.

Whenever I can grab onto these precious minutes…

I do.

This image of Monsta was taken a month ago.  I haven’t even gone through my pictures from when we stayed on Lake Ariel in Pa. but I remembered this one.  While I was taking it, I had the finished look in my mind.

THIS makes me calm and happy.

I don’t know about you but I crave alone time with my kids. On the weekends, I try to escape with Monsta to somewhere special. Yesterday was the beach. I told him that we were scouting out new locations for sessions and that he could really help me. I needed a model right? We got in the car and I said, “Thank you for coming with me, I love when it is just you and me”. He said, “You’re welcome Mommy.” I said, “Do you know where I’m taking you?”

Crickets

That kid was fast asleep before we even got to the main road. He awoke pretty groggy but bounced right back once he saw how beautiful it was.

We chased birds, played Monster, found shells and rocks…

He was awesome.

Now that the Monsta is in kindy, I cherish the time I get to spend with the little one as well.

He loves to spend time in Big brodda’s room. Pretending that he’s him. He tries on his shoes, clothes, costumes….you name it.

These kids fuel my spirit. I look at them and think to myself, “How did we do that? and How do we love them so much?”

I’m truly amazed that we did something this awesome.

To do list:  Have baby.

That is what was written on the chalk board in the kitchen.  T & R welcomed me into their beautiful home in Bayside, Queens and let me pal around with their precious little girl for hours.  Thanks so much guys!

Spent the afternoon relaxing at Pindar Vineyards yesterday.  Drank wine, listened to music, packed a picnic and laughed with friends.  Samy from Creative Courses Catering made us steak sandwiches that were too die for.  The kids had a great time getting their faces painted and playing Frisbee.  It was the first day that I actually felt chilly when the sun went behind the clouds.  This is it.  Summer is gone and Fall is here.  The smell in the air is different too.  The East-end was in full swing with pumpkin picking and cornstalks.  I’m not there quite yet.  Maybe in a couple of weeks.

It was a delightful day:

We love trying new wines around here. Do you have a favorite?

What a fun session this was. The girls, as you can see, are as cute as buttons and their Mama is beautiful and sweet. We frolicked in gardens and made each other laugh. That is what I’m about. No stress, relaxed and FUN. I love it. Thanks girls for a wonderful morning.

Book your Fall session now!
