Cabin: Part II

September 27, 2010

in photography

I found some moments of free time and of course ran outside to explore and shoot.

Before I stepped off the porch:

I think I like this one better:

Little wishing well in front yard:

I don’t know what these are called but they are everywhere. I like the feel of this one. Very cinematic.

On a side note: David is turning 1 tomorrow – WOW : )
we are all sick and the pool is not closing today due to rain : (

***Don’t forget to vote for Cubby! see post below….thanks!

Mom treated us to lobsters!

Grandpa moved to NY from Florida and met Cubby for the first time.

A funfilled day spent with cousins.

I got in trouble for this one but come on…..you’re only a kid ONCE!

Why not, right? You’re a kid, you can do anything! Came across this site recently. How cool does that look? I wonder if there is anything like this on the East Coast.

I’ve been trying to get the Monsta to go on the LIRR. He LOVES trains and we visit the station often. (It is right by his school) A train pulled up the other day and I wanted to get on real quick and then off again. He wouldn’t have any part of it. What is that about? I told him I would hold him to get on. I think the gap really freaked him out. The Engineer did wave to us out the window as they pulled away. He got a kick out of that!

Here is another cutie shot sans pizza:

I had the pleasure of attending a beautiful Baptism last Sunday at St. Patrick Church in Bayshore. It was a special day for Kris & JoAn’s twins… they were so sweet in their outfits and I didn’t even hear them make a peep. The celebration continued with family and friends in another part of the church. We enjoyed homecooked food and meeting up with some old friends.

this last one is my friend Leslie (she dances flamenco too) holding my little cubby. She dazzled him with her sparkly earrings!

Thanks guys for such a great day!

I entered this shot into a contest for Photographing Children: Using textures. Winner gets Photoshop CS5. I’m keeping my fingers crossed but I never seem to have any luck with these contests. It’s fun to participate anyway.
