It’s the BIG mouthed scream of FUN…

the giggles as they reach the end…

and the determination of getting up to go another round.

I secretly want to run down this thing myself.  Yesterday, at Costco, me and the Monsta were heading back to the car with our stuff.  It was raining.  It always rains when we go.  As we were running through the raindrops, some man whizzes by.  He ran and then hopped on to the bar at the bottom and rode all the way down the hill to his aisle.  I think if he didn’t go by so fast, I would have noticed a big smile on his face.  When we finally caught up to him, I said, “That looked like fun!”  He replied, “It was!  I felt like a kid again.”

Take that and put it in your back pocket for this week.  Do something fun just for the heck of it.

My title today is a quote from my Pop.  I have heard this about a zillion times over the last 41 years.  I think it is one of those things that I don’t even have to think about anymore.  I just do it – like the simple phrase tells you to do.  Sometimes it feels like I’m being tested with hard obstacles that are thrown in my direction but I look past and just Do.  When I read or hear of others complaining about things they should be doing, I say to myself…..

Why don’t they just Do? 

Sure, I vent at times (I hate feeling stressed) but for the most part, (come say it with me) – I just Do!

Keep this phrase with you and see if you can just Do.  I have to say that I think it has made me the strong person I think I am.

For those who have been calling to see how my Monsta is doing, I’m hoping that his stomach virus is almost over. It has been going strong since Friday and frankly, we are running out of TP and sheets!

My kids just adore them. Strawberries, blackberries, raspberries…..I can go on and on and on.

If you are wondering: This is one of the first bowls I ever threw. Heavy and thick but I think it has charm.

This is random but we just watched Twilight and New Moon having never read the books and I really liked them. Now I’m really wanting to see the third. What is up with that? Is it a modern day Romeo and Juliet? Who knew I’d be hooked on Vampire Romance.

Three years ago, when I started blogging , I found that I take far too many pictures.  Not that there is  a limit or anything like that but I take pictures with the intent of blogging something about them.  Then, it seems, so much time goes by that I find it ridiculous talking about things that happened so long ago.  For instance, would you really want to see something snow related now that it is totally Spring?  I think not.  I am trying to post more regularly but life just seems to get in the way.  Important things have come and gone and you totally missed them.  Sorry about that.  You probably would have wanted to see when Ben was in his first play at school.  That was great!  He was so cute and did so well.  Ok, I won’t rub salt in the wound.  You are wounded right?  I’m trying to get better, I promise…did I say that already?  Anyhow, a big change to this blog will happen soon.  It is in the works now.  That is something to look forward to.  In the meantime….here is my cute cubby to make you smile.

We finally made it to see and ride the little steamers last weekend. 

Ben was super tired because he was up at four in the morning (the night before) complaining of a sore throat.  It was the beginning of a cold that is just about ending now.

Anyways, I’ve heard from several friends that it was a pretty cool place and it was.  It is all run by volunteers and a donation is all that is required.   The season is now over but keep the website faved for next year!
