He pretty much spent the day laying in the wrapping paper.
Pancake’s Christmas
Someone has to do the work around here!

While giving Ben a bath this morning, I decided to have Paul (the baby doll that Mom bought him for Chanukah) join him. It was pretty cute I must say. Ben washed the baby just like I wash him. Then, when the bath was over and I was drying everyone off, Paul pee’d. Yeah, that’s right…Paul took a leak! It was UN-believable. Ok, the doll is anatomically correct and came with a potty. I can put two and two together BUT… when I saw the water coming out of his little thingie, I was speechless. I burst out into laughter and so did Ben. He then spent the next 5 minutes squeezing the baby’s tummy to make more pee come out.

New stuff going on!
Here is another one from the day at the park.
I’m starting a new business designing cards. It began as an experiment for a friend and now people seem to be interested. Basically, I go to the clients house and shoot photos of their child. I then design a custom greeting card for them for the holidays. It’s fun to do and convenient for the Mom (or Dad). No more dragging your kid to an appointment and being unhappy with the pictures or layout of the card. So far, I have two extremely happy customers. This will extend to birth announcements and invitations as well. I’m excited about this new venture and busy as well…..Back to the grind.
Have a great weekend!
A day at Argyle Lake Park
Ben and I picked up Mom and Pop and headed to Argyle Lake Park today. It was sunny and brisk and probably one of the last few good days we will have before the real cold sets in. I got some great shots of Ben which I have posted on Flickr (you can get there by clicking any of the photos on this site). I also got a fantastic one of Pop…

We are almost finished getting all the stuff for the bathroom renovaton. It’s so hard to put it all together. At this point, I have to just cross my fingers and hope that everything will work AND be pleasing to the eye. We hit Lowes and Bed, Bath & Beyond today. Lowes for the ordering of the big stuff like tub, terlit and tile. B, B & B for the fixtures. We found the same set in Lowes for way more money. So we saved about $50.00 which is pretty cool. Ben had fun too. He ran around with an Elmo potty seat that he found and was hysterically laughing trying to find his Daddy (who kept hiding on him). He was shrieking! What a cookie he is!

I’m so grossed out!
My Mom just sent me this video and am I glad I watched it. You have to see this for yourself. I just can’t believe it! I think Craig is nuts for rinsing out the glasses that come out of our own dishwasher because of the soap residue (Don’t tell him but I now do it too). This is MUCH more serious. You can get a freakin’ infection or disease. Are all of you aware of this? Am I the only one that never thought of those glasses that look so clean and sparkly by the sink? Just watch it and then tell me what YOU think. Just click on - leave a comment. Blech!
Almost back…
For the first time in 2 weeks Ben didn’t wake up with a stuffed up nose! I’m psyched. Hopefully things will just clear up now and he will be back to normal in no time. This picture was taken the other night. He fell asleep on Craig’s chest and I couldn’t resist setting up the tripod and snapping the bubbles coming out of his nose. Have I mentioned that I love my Nikon D40? In case I haven’t, I DO!
