…… I can’t believe three years have gone by already.  Everybody says, “Enjoy the time now because it goes by so quickly”.  Well, they are right in a sense.  It does go by rather fast.  Yesterday marked my little boy’s Birthday.  I have to say though…I savored the three years.  I enjoyed watching him grow and learn and turn into such a sweet young boy.  I didn’t let days go by without noticing that he stopped to watch a worm wiggle on the ground, that his jumps got a little higher, that he put the paintbrush back into the right color container.  These small things warm my heart on a daily basis.  Ben puts smiles on people’s faces and I just can’t help but notice that.  We are so proud of this kid.

……It took him a couple of tries to blow that candle out – What a face!

……Chomping on the cupcake.

Happy Birthday Ben!

Craig came home with a slip n slide yesterday.  It didn’t stay in the box very long before Ben wanted to try.  He had a BALL!  I think he ran up and down that thing 1 zillion times.  Check out the joy on this kid’s face.

Just a quick post of Ben and his cousin Jack from Mother’s Day.  Ben loves playing with him and wants him to go everywhere.  Jack is a good sport and Ben adores him. Awwwwwwwwww

Snuck (is that the past tense of sneek?) carrot puree on pita then topped with sauce that had vegies in it.  Muenster cheese on top and parsley and the kid is presently EATING it!  I’m psyched.

Just came in from working all day with Craig in the yard.  Garden is up.  That includes tomatoes and onions planted.  From last year I had lemon balm (nice in iced tea or lemonade), sage and oregano.  The fence is assembled and all I have to do now is take a trip out east to get the rest of the plants I want.  What a relief.  I can’t do as much being 20 weeks pregnant but I have to say I sort of rocked out there.  hehehe

Off to see Star Trek tonight – YAY!

Mother’s Day was nice, we spent the day at my Aunt’s.  Delicious bbq and fun crowd.  Ben held up pretty well for not having a nap and played with all of those that were willing.  (Thanks all).

BUT the highlight of the day was little baby Sunny.  I can’t tell you how cute this girl is because nothing I say will do her justice.  She is beyond squeezable and has eyes that would make you melt.  I couldn’t take my eyes off her.  My cousin Allegra (Sunny’s Mom), the one who makes pouches, she also gave me a ton of maternity clothes which also made my day.  I have been so agonizing over what fits and what to wear this will take so much stress off.  Lucky for me she was pregnant over the summer.  I can’t wait to try things on.  Thanks girl!

Anyways here a glimpse at this cutie patootie – she is precious.
